At long last, the four (4) ladies vying to become golf professionals have received good news from PGA Ghana to prepare to become lady professional golfers. They received the good news after competing in the 10th edition of Gold Fields PGA Championship at Damang Golf Club.

Mercy Werner, Felicity Gyeabour, Constance Awuni and Jessicia Tei will begin a training program to equip themselves with the important aspects of the professional game. They will be given all the necessary tools and available assistance from PGA Ghana to make sure their aims and objectives are achieved. The ladies also gave their assurance to encourage young talented female amateurs to become professional golfers.

After training, they will be eligible to participate in professional tournaments in Ghana and abroad. The story of these ladies will become history not only within the professional golfing fraternity in Ghana but the entire sports in the country.
